Royal Caribbean International (RCI) is a US company, trademarked brand and subsidiary owned by Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd (RCCL, shipowner).
The vessel is the new “world’s largest”, together with its Symphony of the Seas (scheduled delivery in 2018).
Also added to Harmony is the modern Mexican restaurant Sabor, recently added to Allure and Freedom of the Seas.
Harmony's first cruise with paying travellers was on May 22, 2016.
Leaving from France (without cruise passengers) the vessel started sea trials in the Atlantic Ocean to test its engines and propulsion (manoeuvrability).
The ship had only 500 crew (out of 2000) for the trials.
